The Nusa Dua Water Sports Festival transforms this upscale southern Bali beach precinct into a magnificent spectacle of ocean-based excitement, drawing competitors and spectators from across Indonesia and beyond for a day of intense competition, impressive demonstrations, and genuine beach festival atmosphere.

Nusa Dua is the ideal setting for this event. Its protected bay offers flat, calm water ideal for precision water sports, while the wide beach allows for a dedicated spectator area with clear sightlines across the entire competition zone. The area’s established resort infrastructure ensures excellent food, beverages, and comfort facilities throughout the day.

The jet ski racing programme features multiple categories — from entry-level recreational class to semi-professional open class — with riders navigating a marked buoy course at speeds approaching 80km/h. The skill of top competitors, who hold their craft on precise racing lines through tight turns, is genuinely impressive. Alongside the competition, freestyle stunt demonstrations by professional riders showcase extraordinary airborne manoeuvres.

Parasailing is offered as a participatory experience throughout the day, with experienced operators taking festival guests on tandems and solo flights that reach up to 150 metres altitude — providing incomparable bird’s-eye views of Nusa Dua’s turquoise bay, the Bukit Peninsula, and on clear days, the entire southern Bali coastline.
